What driving licence do I need to drive Aurora?

You will need a Category C1 licence. Please contact us to verify any endorsements you have as this  may affect the insurance etc.

Are Pots, Pans, Crockery and cutlery included?

Yes. All the basics youd find at home are included. A full list is available.

Yes, Bed Linen and towels are provided.

Do I have a limit on the miles I can drive?

No, we give you unlimited miles as standard.

Are pets allowed in the motorhome?

Accepted Answer

Maybe!  Please enquiry with quantity of pets, size, type. Please note that any damage done by pets chewing the furniture would be chargeable so please make sure no damage is caused by your furry friend.

Is there an age limit to drive the motorhome?

Accepted Answer

Yes, All drivers must be  between 25 and 79 years of age and have held a licence for over 2 years and hold a valid driving licence to drive the motorhome with Category C1. Maximum of 2 x 3 points. ALL drivers must be declared and validated prior to collecting the motorhome.

Can I leave my car when I collect the Motorhome?

Yes, it is possible to leave your car without charge. 
Please be aware that any vehicle is left at your own risk and we cannot be held responsible for theft or damage however caused. There are cameras covering the parking area.

Question 8

Can you drop off the Motorhome to my home?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it is possible for us to drop off the motorhome at your home free of charge provided it within 15 mile of Thirsk. For drop offs outside of 15 miles there would be a charge of £1.50 per mile.

What happens if I breakdown?

Accepted Answer

In the unlikely event that you breakdown, simply ring the breakdown recovery service number that will be given to you at the time of collecting Aurora.  Stay safe and go to a place outside the motorhome until the recovery van arrives.

Question 10

Is insurance extra?

Accepted Answer

No, we provide you with fully comprehensive  motor vehicle insurance cover. You should arrange cover for personal insurance as you would when going on any other holiday.

Question 11

Do I need to return the motorhome Diesel tank full or empty?

Accepted Answer

The Diesel tank will be full when you collect it and must be returned full of Diesel when returning the motorhome.
